Hi!

With 2024 nearly over, it's a good time to celebrate two of the things that make up our business – our work and our people.

As a remote organisation, we are well used to meetings, conversations and catchups over Zoom and we’re pretty good at them!  But there’s still something nourishing about coming together physically, sharing some atoms, and getting a dopamine and serotonin hit.  Our community is so important to us and to spend the morning brainstorming, sharing and celebrating was a perfect way to end a busy year.

Side point here – did you know that in a year 98% of the atoms in our bodies are replaced with new ones?  So that person that you only see once a year, is only 2% the same (atomically) as the last time you saw them. Cool huh?  Maybe this is a sign to see people more often…? In fact – one outcome of our wider community meet up was to meet in person more often. 😊

We also spoke about how our business is evolving.

In 2024 we've moved towards a 4-way approach to culture change, encompassing DEI, high performance, mental well-being and making a positive impact – so this makes up the 'what' of THC. What became clear from our THC family lunch was that our real purpose, our 'why' if you like, is that we want to support organisations and individuals to lead with heart.

And we spent a lot of 2024 doing just that!

You can see by the numbers above that it was a busy year.  Here’s a little of what we’ve been up to:

We’ve seen a real interest from clients in different areas of our offering exploring topics which all have a DEI lens but also look at high performance and mental health/resilience.  Topics such as: Finding your Voice and Style’, ‘Challenging/High Quality Conversations’ and ‘Working with Introversion & Extroversion’.

Consulting work has increased this year with organisations partnering with us to consult on and design strategy as an extension of their L&D team. This makes for truly collaborative work which we love! Spending time on the strategy before delivering training also increases the engagement as we can be more focussed on the topics that are meaningful to employees as well as support the values and culture change objectives of the business.

Inclusive and Courageous Leadership has been a theme through the year with several clients (this hits the Leading with Heart brief spot on!).

We’ve continued providing Parental Transition Coaching with hours delivered this year in the hundreds. We also delivered a hugely successful coaching programme focused on accelerating black talent.

And The Disability Taskforce has grown further and have recently been engaged to do an accessibility review of a large exhibition centre.

Not to mention all the other great projects we’ve been involved in – it’s been quite the year!

2025 is looking to be just as exciting and we’re looking forward to working with current and new clients on creating culture change across their organisations.
