Uzma Mohamedali
CPCC, PCC, TLCP
Uzma is a professional certified coach with 20 years experience in change management and communications across several industries. She is fascinated by the process of change, especially behaviour change.
With intersecting identities, Uzma draws on her lived experience to guide conversations around bias. In addition to coaching Uzma has held workshops on microaggressions and allyship for large multinationals in the UK and Europe.
Uzma is British, in an interracial marriage and lives in France based on the border with Switzerland and Germany.
As the daughter of immigrants who were themselves a minority in the countries they were born in, I was aware of the pressure to get things right and to fit in culturally. I lived in two distinct worlds with conflicting views.
I’ve had a lifelong fascination with the process of change and curiosity about what makes people tick. As a person with intersecting identities, I draw on my lived experience to sensitively guide conversations around bias to ensure that all parties have a voice. My coaching knowledge has been instrumental in allowing me to do this. I'm passionate about creating a just and equal society.

Experience
Uzma started her career in therapeutic communication, studying the mechanics of speech and language therapy at University College London. She moved into corporate communications, extending into change management and corporate transformations.
As a change and internal communications consultant, Uzma worked at Barclays, Ernst & Young, Royal Sun Alliance, Shell and Deloitte. Prior to becoming a full-time executive and leadership coach, Uzma worked at Roche HQ, in Basel, Switzerland.
She works with a diverse range of senior private and corporate executive clients including Goldman Sachs, Merck and CapGemini.
Specialisms
Uzma’s specialism is confidence and leadership. She empowers leaders to develop confidence, credibility, and authenticity. She combines a blend of assessments, 360 interviews, strategic communication techniques, and practical leadership skills to support leaders to learn to be better with people. Uzma helps leaders advance their careers when they move into senior roles where their presence and authority need to motivate and inspire internal and external stakeholders.
As a facilitator she aims to be inclusive, helping to give voice to lesser heard perspectives.
Personal style
Uzma is grounded, intuitive and authentic when coaching. Her focus on empathy, people and relationships have helped to ensure that change is experienced in a gentle human way rather than a mechanical change to be undergone. She has the natural ability to create a safe and inclusive space.
