Masculinity in the Workplace 2022 – Virtual Edition

22nd November 2022 @ 1:45 pm - 6:00 pm GMT

This will be our 5th Masculinity in the Workplace event which we run annually to mark International Men's Day.

The event was founded and is run by Roxanne Hobbs (Founder, The Hobbs Consultancy) and Daniele Fianduca (Founder, Token Man). The aim of the event is to bring men along to the gender conversation by showing what's in it for them.   We believe that both men and women benefit from dismantling our stereotyped gender systems.

At this event we encourage people to challenge gender stereotypes in workplace cultures to enable everyone to thrive in a more inclusive and diverse world.

This year's theme:  How can men stay relevant?

Our confirmed speakers are:

Laura Bates, Best-selling author, keynote speaker and founder of the Everyday Sexism Project,  will talk to us about how men can stay relevant by creating change within the system.

Christopher Veal, Host of The Vulnerable Man podcast, speaker and author of The Whole Man, will talk to us about how men can stay relevant by connecting with others.

James O'Brien, award winning LBC radio presenter, and best selling author, will talk to us about how men can stay relevant by sometimes being wrong.

We will also be holding a panel discussion around the question according to different generations. Joining us for this will be Jack Parsons, CEO at Youth Group,  Nana Bempah, founder and CEO of POCC and Mark Thorpe, CEO at KP Snacks.
