Brené Brown has taught us what it means to dare greatly, rise strong, and brave the wilderness. Based on research conducted with leaders, change makers, and culture shifters, the Dare to Lead™ curriculum will show us how to put those ideas into practice so we can step up and lead.
Leadership is not about titles or the corner office. It’s about the willingness to step up, put yourself out there, and lean into courage. The world is desperate for braver leaders. It’s time for all of us to step up. This is a curriculum for developing brave leaders and courageous cultures. It’s learning and practice that requires brave work, tough conversations, and truly showing up. Daring leadership is a collection of four skill sets that are 100% teachable.
The common thread? How we deal with fear. We will teach the skills required to tackle these issues by becoming braver leaders.
Part 1 Rumbling with vulnerability - How we react to fear and choosing to lean in to risk, uncertainty and emotional exposure.
Part 2 Living into Our Values - Clarity on our values and the gap between our desired values and our behaviour.
Part 3 Braving Trust - How trust is built and destroyed in organisations.
Part 4 Learning to Rise – Resilience; failing forward (learning whilst failing) . Dare to Lead™ is for you if you are a leader who wants to become braver in your leadership.
Dare to Lead™ is a three day skills based curriculum based on research to support brave leaders in your organisation who want to build courageous cultures. . Attendees will leave the session with a workbook and participate in online evaluation via the team in Houston. Individuals who successfully complete the full Dare to Lead™ programme will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put a Dare to Lead™ Trained badge on their LinkedIn account. Please note this doesn’t qualify you to teach the curriculum. If you would like to bring Dare to Lead™ to your organisation please contact us for further information.
The course will be facilitated by Roxanne Hobbs (CPCC, PCC, DWF, CDTLF). Roxanne is the founder of The Hobbs Consultancy, initially founded to effect change for women in the advertising industry. Since then she has come to realise that it isn’t the women that need fixing and that it is not just women who face barriers in the workplace. Roxanne’s specialism is inclusivity in the workplace - how to show up as yourself and how to create teams that feel able to show up as themselves. She believes that it is possible to have a fulfilling career and a happy home life and works with people to achieve just that.
