We've got some exciting updates for you this week starting with...drum roll...

CPD certification for DEI Essentials suite

We had the best news before the Easter weekend - our DEI Essentials e-learning suite has been CPD accredited!  We are absolutely thrilled and it's a testament to the hard work of the team and the quality of the modules.

This suite of 9 e-learning modules gives a foundational knowledge of key DEI topics. The modules each cover key terminology, the barriers that are in the way for certain groups, and conclude with case studies and actions that the participant might take. We adopt a multimedia approach using the written word, videos, diagrams and audio recordings to educate. To work quickly through each module takes about 30-40 minutes, although there are plenty of signposts to additional resources so it's easy to disappear down a rabbit hole for much longer if participants want to!

Completing the 9 modules will now give learners 8.2 CPD accredited hours.

NEW Life Events suite

We've been busy putting together some new e-learning modules for line managers and all those managing employees going through key life events. 

We know that those going through significant life events have often been asked to continue to turn up at work without their emotions or performance being impacted by what is going on at home. Inclusion is about enabling our colleagues to show up as themselves and not leaving parts of themselves outside of the workplace. Therefore a huge part of the inclusion agenda must be to ensure all those managing direct reports have the understanding, empathy and skills to effectively and compassionately support with such life events as they arise. 

Our 6 new life events e-learning modules cover the topics:

Managing Your Parental Leaver 
Menopause Awareness
Supporting Paternity and Non-birthing Partners
Fertility Treatment Awareness
Miscarriage Awareness
Grief and Loss

They aim to:

- Encourage line managers to comprehend the huge influence they have on their direct reports' job satisfaction, well-being and, ultimately, retention.

- Share lived experiences of life events to support line managers' ability to perspective take.

- Share core skills, tips and conversation starters so that line managers can provide effective support.
