As we move forward to a more inclusive culture we must acknowledge that there are still some groups who have intangible blockers hindering the opportunity for them to show up as themselves and THRIVE in the workplace. One way to improve this is by encouraging them to uncover and optimise their natural strengths.

Progress has been made in acceleration programmes for women, helping them to navigate some of the typical stumbling blocks in their careers. We call on industry to pay the same attention to BAME talent. We want to see improved identification and nurturing of high potential BAME talent much earlier on. Offering sponsorship, professional career coaching and investing budget to ongoing leadership development plans will help accelerate their progress, readiness for senior roles and offer diverse candidates for the pipeline.

This cross-industry Rising Stars workshop, is aimed at accelerating high potential, junior minority talent within the industry.
